Welcome to Daily Writers' Club, which is operated by Skoolbo Australia PTY LTD (“Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By registering an account for, or using Daily Writers' Club Services, including all of the services provided therein, and any other websites and applications that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Services”), you acknowledge that you have read and understand these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

The “terms and conditions” governs the use of “Daily Writers' Club services” available from the domains www.storyathon.com and www.writinglegends.com. The Daily Writers' Club Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the Daily Writers' Club Privacy Policy which together form the full terms and conditions of Daily Writers' Club’s agreement with the User.

From time to time Daily Writers' Club may modify Daily Writers' Club Terms and Conditions.

Daily Writers' Club’s Trademarks, Logos, Graphics, Audio or Other Assets
1. Unless otherwise stated the User may not use or alter Daily Writers' Club’s trademarks, logos, graphics, audio or other assets included in Daily Writers' Club Services in any way other than for their intended purposes.
2. Schools are granted permission to use Daily Writers' Club logo to promote the event within their school.
Reservation of Rights
1. Daily Writers' Club reserves all right, title and interest in Daily Writers' Club Services (including all characters, storyline, images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music, text), and all associated copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights therein.
2. The User may not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer Daily Writers' Club Services, or any component thereof, by any means whatsoever.
3. The User may not “hack” or intentionally degrade Daily Writers' Club Services.
4. The User may not remove, alter, or obscure any product identification, copyright, or other intellectual property notices in Daily Writers' Club Services. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Daily Writers' Club.
Daily Writers' Club Services Uptime
1. Daily Writers' Club takes all reasonable steps to ensure Daily Writers' Club Services are available 24 hours every day. However, websites and other online applications sometimes encounter downtime due to server and other technical issues. Daily Writers' Club will not be liable if Daily Writers' Club Services are unavailable at any time.
2. Where possible Daily Writers' Club will try to give advance warning of maintenance issues but shall not be obliged to do so.
Responsibilities of Users
1. It is the responsibility of each user to maintain the confidentiality of their account password.
2. It is the responsibility of every User to in no way try to “hack” or intentionally degrade Daily Writers' Club Services.
Material the User sends to Daily Writers' Club or posts on Daily Writers' Club Services
1. With the exception of personally identifiable information (see Daily Writers' Club Privacy Policy), any material the User sends to Daily Writers' Club or posts Daily Writers' Club Services shall be considered non-proprietary and not confidential. Unless the User advises to the contrary Daily Writers' Club will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material for any and all purposes.
  By creating stories on Daily Writers' Club you are granting us a permanent, non-exclusive right to publish the stories in both digital and printed format. Users retain creative ownership of their stories and they may publish them anywhere else they may wish. Users will not be entitled to any payments or royalties for any publishing we may do of stories they have submitted on the Daily Writers' Club site. We may contact the teacher of a student if the content of a story is concerning. Examples of these may include, but not limited to, self-harm, excessive violence or abuse. We do not read the content of most stories and it is not possible to detect all instances of concerning content. Stories submitted on the site may be analysed in non-identifiable ways for research purposes.
Links to other Websites
1. Any links to third party websites located on Daily Writers' Club services are provided for the User’s convenience only.
2. Daily Writers' Club takes all reasonable steps to ensure any links to third party websites are appropriate. Daily Writers' Club is not responsible for the content on any linked third party website. If the User chooses to access a third party website linked to from any Daily Writers' Club service, it is at the User’s own risk. The User is encouraged to notify Daily Writers' Club if there are any inappropriate links on Daily Writers' Club services.
Links from other Websites
The User may provide a link to Daily Writers' Club services on another website on the basis that:
1. The User does not in any way imply that Daily Writers' Club is endorsing any services or products unless this has been specifically agreed in writing with Daily Writers' Club.
2. The User does not misrepresent the relationship between the User and Daily Writers' Club.
3. The User does not present any false information about Daily Writers' Club.
Disclaimer
1. The use of any part of Daily Writers' Club Services is entirely at the User’s own risk, for which Daily Writers' Club shall not be liable.
2. It is the User’s own responsibility to ensure Daily Writers' Club Services meet the User’s specific requirements.
3. Daily Writers' Club takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the information on Daily Writers' Club’s Services is correct. However, Daily Writers' Club does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of material contained within the Daily Writers' Club Services. 4. Daily Writers' Club takes all reasonable care to ensure the maintenance and security of the User’s data. However, Daily Writers' Club does not guarantee the data. Daily Writers' Club accepts no responsibility for a temporary or permanent loss of data.
Maximum Liability
1. The User agrees that Daily Writers' Club is financially liable only to the amount the User has paid in the preceding 12 months.
2. The User agrees that Daily Writers' Club shall not be liable for any consequential damages.
3. The User agrees that none of the Supporting Partners of Daily Writers' Club are liable in any way.
Governing Jurisdiction

The User may provide a link to Daily Writers' Club services on another website on the basis that:
1. Daily Writers' Club Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance within Australian law. Any dispute(s) arising in connection with this Legal Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian Capital Territory.
2. If any provision of the terms and provisions within Daily Writers' Club Terms and Conditions are determined to be invalid, it shall not affect the validity and enforcement of the remaining terms and provisions within the Daily Writers' Club Terms and Conditions.
